C.A.R.P. COOPERATIVE

Our history

C.A.R.P. was born as a consortium in Fano (PU) in 1973 from a group of artisan transporters in the flammable liquids sector, aiming to improve their business organizationally and economically.
In 1976 C.A.R.P. became a Cooperative based in Pesaro, an entrepreneurial entity acting on behalf of its members.
In 1983, the Cooperative expanded to the tipper sector with new members, a growth confirmed in 1985 with multiple companies joining and the start of food liquids transport.
In 1992 the CO.TRA.P. Consortium merged into C.A.R.P., strengthening the sector with new flatbed and curtainsider vehicles.

In 1997 C.A.R.P. went international: opening a foreign office in Gambettola (FC) for the European market. The customer base grew yearly and despite the 2008/2009 crisis, turnover exceeded 30 million euros by 2014.
In 2005, managing an area near the A14 motorway exit with local partners, C.A.R.P. helped establish Parco Tir Pesaro, a service cooperative for transport companies ensuring territorial and environmental respect.
In 2015 the consortium entered waste transport, which became the sixth operational sector in 2018 with specialized vehicles.
In 2017 a vehicle yard was established in Ravenna to maximize working hours and minimize consumption.
